Leave & holidays: common questions
What is sandwich leave and does pagar karo support it?
Sandwich leave counts a weekly off or holiday that falls between two leave days as leave. In pagar karo it is a switch on the leave template, so each business decides.
Can leave be encashed in payroll?
Yes. Encashment at the end of a leave cycle becomes a “Leave encashment” entry in the next payroll month, priced on the base you choose (gross or Basic).
Can managers approve leave from their phone?
Yes. Managers get a push notification and approve or reject from the approvals inbox in the app or on the web.
