Employee database: common questions
What is an employee database in HRMS?
It is the single record of every employee — personal, job, pay, bank and statutory details — that every other HR process (attendance, leave, payroll, letters, exits) reads from. Keeping it in one place avoids mismatched spreadsheets.
Can I import my existing employee Excel sheet?
Yes. Upload the sheet, map the columns, and pagar karo imports valid rows and gives you an error file for the rest, so nothing is half-imported.
Who can see employee salary and bank details?
Only roles that are allowed to, and only for staff in their data scope. Bank numbers are fully visible only to people with the bank-details privilege.
