Attendance: common questions
How does selfie attendance stop proxy punching?
Each punch needs a live selfie and the phone’s GPS location. pagar karo checks the location against the work-site geofence, flags mock-location apps and stores the photo with the punch so managers can review it. Kiosk face punch also requires a liveness check.
Can staff mark attendance without internet?
Yes. The staff app saves punches on the phone with a unique ID and sends them in order once the network is back, so nothing is lost and nothing is counted twice.
Do you support biometric machines?
Yes. Biometric machines can push their logs to pagar karo, or you can upload the exported CSV/Excel file. Unknown device codes land in an “Unprocessed logs” queue for you to map once.
How are overtime and late fines calculated?
From your attendance template: grace minutes, per-minute or slab fines, and overtime multipliers. Amounts are priced from the staff member’s salary and only approved items go to payroll.
